Beta-hematin inhibition and antimalarial properties
Recent results obtained at the AlQuds University in partnership with IFBV-BELHERB from Luxembourg show that freshly prepared infusion of Artemisia annua or Artemisia afra is stronger than chloroquine in the inhibition of beta-hematin (hemozoin) formation.
